UAE – Mubasher: The main index of Dubai Financial Market (DFM) closed Thursday higher by 2.89 points (0.07%) at 4,008.96 points.

A total of 201.78 million shares were exchanged during the session at a value of AED 360.69 million.

Drake and Scull International (DSI) was the most active stock in the market in terms of trading volume with 118.21 million shares, while Emaar Properties garnered the highest turnover on DFM today with AED 115.46 million.

Dubai Islamic Insurance and Reinsurance Company (Aman) advanced the gainers with 6.45%, while Al Salam Bank – Sudan led the fallers with 9.05%.

On the other hand, the benchmark index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) grew by 0.42% to 9,004.09 points.

The turnover reached AED 1.04 billion through the exchange of 278.68 million shares, while the market cap value hit AED 2.76 trillion.

International Holding Company (IHC) recorded the highest turnover of AED 179.04 million, while Dana Gas dominated the trading volume with 57.44 million shares.

RAPCO Investment topped the risers with 13.19%, whereas E7 Group headed the decliners with 5.76%.
